LOUD

A modular display system, which structures spaces, in an evolving typographic form.
LOUD is a custom made modular system
born out of the question how big can a modular typographic system can be?

It is build upon 16 segments displays setup. 
The frame are build using simple and modular wood working workflow. I made them and designed the production so that it would be the easiest to do. 
To control the string of characters, I designed and made custom hardware, using wireless communication. I also made a custom protocol of communication to achieve this wireless communication.
On the computer I fully designed a custom software so it could also be used to make simple and easy animations.
